Marie-Ange Symmonds

Marie-Ange Symmonds is Of Counsel at FOSTERS, having previously served as an Associate with the firm for five years. She continues to work with the firm on a select number of matters and brings significant experience in complex commercial litigation, alongside a broad corporate and commercial practice.

Marie-Ange has acted on high-value and procedurally complex commercial disputes, including matters involving contractual claims, commercial injunctive relief, and property-related litigation. Her experience includes managing substantial court documentation, supporting strategic case development, and working closely with senior counsel on contested proceedings before the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Privy Council.

She was born in Barbados and holds a degree in Global Development Studies from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She subsequently studied law in London, United Kingdom, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.

Marie-Ange completed her professional legal training at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago.
